Central Massachusetts Families Organizing for Change is a
Grassroots Family Organization.
We began in the early 90's with the first meetings being held
around kitchen tables.
Although we have grown through the years and our meetings
have moved from kitchen tables to conference tables, our passion
to empower and educate families is stronger than ever.

Our annual Family Leadership Series is held in the Central
Massachusetts area and is the crux of our organization.
It is in this series that we educate and empower families to make
changes within their communities.
This series is open to  All  family members of individuals with
disabilities, whether those individuals are siblings, children or
grandchildren, and is completely free of charge.
It is here where connections are made.

For more information on our Family Leadership Series or CMFOC
in general, contact one of our Area Coordinators or visit our
Leadership Series Page.

Mission

All members of CMFOC have been touched by a person with a
disability. We have come together in order to support, enlighten
and inspire each other, as well as to welcome new members.

Our Purpose is Threefold

To provide opportunities for support and friendship to individuals
with disabilities and their families.

To provide a range of educational and training opportunities to
better prepare families for their leadership and advocacy roles.

To promote and support legislation that is responsive to
individuals with disabilities and their families and to the
communities in which they live.
